PSPF Assessment Report 2024–25

The Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) requires non-corporate Commonwealth entities (NCEs) to complete an annual self-assessment and report their compliance with PSPF requirements to their portfolio minister and the Department of Home Affairs.

This report provides assurance to the Australian Government and the Australian public that entities complying with their security obligations. It also demonstrates that entities are implementing sound and responsible protective security practices, and that they are identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities.

The PSPF Assessment Report 2024–25 is now published. This is the first report using the compliance-based reporting model. The model emphasises evidence-based compliance, risk outcomes and measurable assurance.

In 2024-25, most entities (92%) reported an overall rating of Effective compliance. The remaining 8% of entities reported an overall rating of Moderate compliance. No entities reported an overall rating of Low compliance in 2024-25.
