Engagement

The Protective Security Policy team in the Department of Home Affairs runs several forums to:

  • support entities
  • test new ideas
  • inform key stakeholders about upcoming PSPF changes and policy developments.

Chief Security Officer Forum

The Chief Security Officer Forum brings together Chief Security Officers from non-corporate Commonwealth entities.

This forum gives members an opportunity to:

  • network
  • share information
  • hold targeted discussion protective security issues.

Vetting Policy Forum

The Vetting Policy Forum is held as needed for representatives from authorised vetting agencies, including the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.

The forum shares best practice information and discusses current and emerging personnel security vetting issues.

PSPF Reporting Forum

The PSPF Reporting Forum assists practitioners and Chief Security Officers to meet their annual PSPF reporting obligations through the PSPF Reporting Portal.

The forum also gives members an opportunity to discuss PSPF policy updates and consider reporting results.

GovTEAMS

The Protective Security Policy team in the Department of Home Affairs manages the protective security policy community on GovTEAMS.

This community enables Australian Government protective security practitioners and policymakers to share information and best practice. It also provides additional resources and information to help entities implement the PSPF.
